Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
Trifecta Signals ("we," "us," "our") operates the Trifecta Signals service at trifectasignals.com (the "Service") — an educational stock-screening and research publication. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Trifecta Signals is an educational screening tool, not investment advice; see our Terms of Service for the terms that govern use of the Service.
Questions about this policy or your data: support@trifectasignals.com.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Depending on how you sign up, we store:
- your email address;
- your account creation date;
- your membership and access status;
- records of any access code you redeem, including the code class and when it was redeemed;
- the date and version of the Terms of Service and Disclaimer you accepted.
If you sign up with email and password, your password is processed and stored by Google Firebase — we never see, receive, or store your password. If you sign in with Google, Google confirms your identity to us and shares your email address. If you use the passwordless email-link option, Firebase emails you a sign-in link; no password is involved.
Newsletter preference. The weekly newsletter is opt-in only. We store whether you opted in (a checkbox at sign-up or the toggle in your account profile; off by default). Transactional emails — such as account and membership notices — are separate from the newsletter and are sent as needed to operate your account.
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, and message so we can read and answer it.
Information stored on your device. The Service uses local storage in your browser for: keeping you signed in (authentication session storage managed by Firebase), remembering your screener filter preferences, and — for guests — remembering that you agreed to the Disclaimer and Terms prompt so it does not reappear on every page.
What we do not collect. We do not collect or store payment card details — no payment processing is active in the Service at this time. We do not run analytics or tracking tools on the Service at this time. The published signal record and its aggregate statistics contain market data only, never personal data.
2. How we use information
We use the information above only to:
- operate the Service and provide the content your account is entitled to see;
- grant, manage, and revoke membership and access-code access;
- send the newsletter if — and only if — you opted in;
- send transactional account and membership notices;
- read and respond to messages you send us;
- keep records of Terms acceptance;
- prevent abuse of the Service and enforce our Terms.
3. Cookies and advertising
Some features of the Service rely on the local storage described above. In addition, when advertisements are displayed on the Service, advertising cookies apply:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- Advertisements are never shown to members with a paid subscription. Members whose access comes from an access code may see advertisements on the Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make the Service run, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Google Firebase — account authentication, account database, and site functions. Your account information is stored with Firebase under Google's security practices.
- Email delivery providers — to send the newsletter (if you opted in) and transactional account emails.
- Google AdSense — when ads are displayed, as described in the advertising section above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the Service and its users from abuse or fraud.
5. Keeping and deleting your information
We keep account information while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support@trifectasignals.com.
Deleting your account removes your account record — email address, membership status, redemption records, and newsletter preference. Published aggregate statistics are unaffected by deletion: they never contained personal data.
6. Security
Account authentication and storage are provided by Google Firebase, and we apply reasonable administrative measures of our own, such as limiting internal access to account records. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the Internet.
7. Who the Service is for
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. The current version will always be posted at trifectasignals.com/privacy.html with its effective date, and material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means the updated policy applies to you.
